The particular attention paid to environmental protection and total respect for the ecosystem were the inputs that drove NORDICA-EXTRAFLAME to make significant investments in product research and development, thus allowing for very high efficiency and low consumption, using only wood, a fuel that is produced by nature and returns to it through a perpetual circular flow.

Our country has large forested areas and can therefore offer a varied quantity of wood. By using this resource, significant advantages can be gained:

Environmental level:
In nature, it is proven that wood, when it completes its decomposition cycle, releases a quantity of CO2 (carbon dioxide) into the atmosphere, which is then used for the regrowth and development of new plants.

Economic level:
2.3Kg of dry wood has a calorific value equivalent to 1lt of diesel or 1m3 of natural gas. Given the equality of benefit, only the cost varies, which for the purchase of wood will be 50-60% lower than other fuels.

POST COMBUSTION SYSTEM
The combustion system developed by La Nordica-Extraflame allows, thanks to a secondary/tertiary air system, for post-combustion capable of drastically reducing emissions and thus complying with the most restrictive European regulations.

RESISTANT DOOR AT THE TIME
La Nordica-Extraflame product doors are made of high-quality cast iron. This material, even when subjected to strong thermal stress, does not expand or alter its shape.

CLEAN GLASS CONTROL
This system, through a specific path of preheated air, effectively prevents the formation of deposits on the fire door glass.

ACTIVE SYSTEM COMBUSTION
This is a special connection system that allows combustion air to be drawn into the appliance from the outside. This means better performance and greater safety for the user.
