Ariston LYDOS HYBRID storage water heater with A+ energy class and heat pump, capable of heating large quantities of water using minimal electricity, the first electric water heater with hybrid technology in class A WI-FI.
The new Ariston Lydos Hybrid water heater has been designed to heat large quantities of water while consuming minimal energy.
The heat pump technology consists of a thermodynamic cycle that heats the water contained in the boiler by drawing in air from the thermal unit, reversing the natural flow of heat. Subsequently, the R134A refrigerant gas, by reversing the compression and expansion cycle, extracts the heat contained in the air at a lower temperature and transfers it to the domestic hot water at a higher temperature.
In addition to its effectiveness and efficiency (energy class A) over time, respecting the environment by using natural and inexhaustible energy, the Ariston water heater is designed with extremely elegant and compact lines, ideal for utilizing even the smallest spaces.

A unique feature of this water heater is its hybrid system technology, choosing the most convenient option between using energy from the heat pump and electricity.

Functions:
i-Memory: This is the main technology that makes it a HYBRID appliance. This function allows the recording of daily water consumption, thus ensuring that hot water is always ready for use;
IProgram: Allows manual programming of the desired time and temperature, and optimizes consumption thanks to intelligent management of the hybrid technology;
Anty Dry: This is a protection system designed to prevent the water heater from turning on if there is no water in the boiler, thus avoiding internal overheating and subsequent damage to internal components;
Active Electrical Safety Function: At the end of each water heating cycle, the water heater performs a double disconnection from the electrical line, thus ensuring complete safety;
Anti-scalding Function: In case of thermostat malfunction, the water heater shuts down, preventing overheating of the water up to 100°C and protecting the user from accidental scalding. Green: This is the energy-saving function that exclusively uses the heat pump to heat domestic hot water up to 62°C;
Boost: This is the rapid domestic hot water heating function that simultaneously uses the machine, heat pump, and electric resistance, speeding up water heating. Once the maximum operating temperature of the heat pump is exceeded, the electric resistance continues to heat until the water's set-point temperature is reached.
Auto Mode: This function optimizes the balance between comfort and savings;
Antilegionella: This is the automatic disinfection function, which periodically sends cleaning cycles to the tank, heating the water up to 65°C, always purifying the tank;
Time Programming: This function allows you to always have domestic hot water ready for use at specific times when a larger flow of hot water may be required.
