The LG THERMA V residential heating solution can be dedicated to both space heating and cooling and domestic hot water production. Compared to traditional boiler systems, it is more efficient and reduces CO2 emissions by using renewable energy (contained in the outdoor air). Additionally, the entire system can be managed and monitored remotely via the LG Smart ThinQ app.

The LG control system offers a variety of solutions that reduce operating costs and maintain efficient control of energy usage. The new RS3 wired controller, along with other accessories, provides a simple interface to facilitate system control, configuration, and monitoring.

New Scroll Compressor

The new vapor injection scroll compressor combines high performance, efficiency, and reliability. Compared to traditional scroll compressors, it can reach water temperatures up to 65°C, reduce noise, and increase the rotation speed range (10-135 Hz).

Vapor Injection

When using R32 refrigerant, it is very important to correctly control the gas discharge temperature from the compressor. In the case of THERMA V Monobloc R32, vapor injection technology has been used to efficiently control the compressor discharge temperature. This expands the operating range of the heat pump (down to -25°C outdoor temperature) and improves heating performance at low temperatures.

Supply Temperature up to 65°C

THERMA V Monobloc R32 is capable of producing hot water up to 65°C, thus being able to effortlessly supply medium/high-temperature terminals (e.g., radiators). For this reason, the LG solution is suitable for both renovations and new constructions.

Temperature Control Options

To ensure greater comfort, effectiveness, and savings, multiple temperature control options are available. Additionally, simultaneous air and water temperature control functions have been added, particularly suited to the European lifestyle, which is very attentive to thermal comfort.

Seasonal Climate Mode

The seasonal climate mode automatically adjusts the heat pump's operation based on the outdoor temperature. It is used to set the water temperature to maximize energy savings by utilizing the integrated climate control.

Silent Mode and Weekly Programming

The Silent Mode function can be activated via the controller to minimize the outdoor unit's sound emissions. The timer can also be used to schedule the start and deactivation of the cycle. Additionally, weekly programming of the heat pump's operation can be set via the controller.

Easy Start-up Setting operating parameters before installation

Based on system information, the installer can set the parameters through the "LG Heating Configurator" software and save the data to a memory card directly from the office. On-site, it will be sufficient to insert the card into the back of the wired controller to activate the configuration.

The remote controller can store up to 50 events, making it easy to identify the causes of any malfunctions.
