Monoblock submersible electric pump for residential, agricultural and industrial use
Lowara expands the SCUBA range of electric pumps, the multi-stage submersible pumps with excellent performance, quiet operation, versatility, compactness and high corrosion resistance. The SCUBA family is enhanced by a wider range of available powers and heads, as well as a series of accessories that can be chosen to best adapt them to the most varied uses, be it civil, agricultural or industrial.

All new SCUBA pumps are equipped with radial centrifugal impellers made of technopolymer for high resistance to sand abrasion (this model has 4); the diffusers, the outer casing and the motor housing are made of AISI 304 stainless steel for the best possible corrosion resistance. The pump head is made of micro-cast stainless steel.

The model presented here is the 3SC4/05/5 C, single-phase powered; its nominal power is 1 HP/0.75 kW, it has a flow rate range of 20 to 70 l/min (1.2 -4.2 m3/h) and reaches a head of almost 51 m.

In SCUBA pumps, the electric motor is protected from infiltration thanks to an efficient double seal system with an interposed oil chamber; at the same time, since the hydraulic part is located below the motor, it is continuously cooled by the pumped liquid, thus preventing excessive overheating.

Guaranteed savings and high comfort
The pumps, which can operate in both vertical and horizontal positions, can be submerged up to a maximum of 17 m; the pumped liquid can reach 40°C. They are equipped with a 20m power cable.

The single-phase version is equipped as standard with both automatic reset overload protection and a capacitor.

SCUBA pumps stand out from other pumps on the market for their high performance in terms of head and flow rate; at the same time, they are particularly quiet pumps thanks to the motor's operation at constant pressure and variable speed.

During pressurization operations, they can be placed directly in wells or tanks, avoiding suction and noise problems.

Great installation modularity
SCUBA electric pumps are equipped with factory pre-assembled electrical cable and float but with a removable connector for easy installation and maintenance; they feature an off-center discharge manifold and, for greater safety, have a steel eyelet for connecting a safety rope.

The silicon carbide mechanical seal, together with the second lubricated mechanical seal, thanks to the particular geometry of the oil chamber, guarantee the maximum reliability of the pump over time.
