GEL 105.080.20 Zerocal+ PRO Anti-scale proportional dosing units with liquid refill, ultra-compact for minimum bulk
The water used in plumbing systems contains a certain amount of dissolved calcium and magnesium salts, which constitute its hardness.
When water is heated, its hardness leads to a chemical reaction, forming calcium and magnesium carbonate (limescale) and carbon dioxide.
Calcium carbonate precipitates, causing scaling on systems and heat exchangers, while carbon dioxide generates corrosive effects within the system.
It is therefore necessary to treat the water by installing anti-scale and anti-corrosion equipment such as proportional dosing units.
The dosing of polyphosphate-based products, proportional to the water flow (< 5 ppm), does not alter the potability characteristics of the water, keeps soluble the elements that would otherwise precipitate, forming
scaling, and protects against corrosion phenomena.
Installation is very simple and can be carried out upstream of the plumbing system, boilers or water heaters, and upstream of washing machines and dishwashers.

Features
ZeroCal+ PRO dosing units are anti-scale dosing units for boilers and heat exchangers.
Their ergonomic shape and adjustable connections make installation quick and easy, even in confined spaces.
In addition to the traditional Dima connections, there is the new Dima Dual Universal connection, which combines the versatility of the Dima and Dima Vertical connections.
Zerocal+ PRO do not require electrical power.
ZeroCal+ PRO dosing units are made of food-grade plastic material.
The package includes one ZeroCal+ DOSE refill.
The equipment described above is made with first-quality materials, certified for food use (DM 174/2004).

Installation
The dosing unit can be mounted on horizontal or vertical pipes and has 5 different connections for each type
of installation:
- 1/2" LINE connection
- 1/2" DIMA connection
- 1/2" DIMA L VERTICAL connection
- 1/2" DIMA 3 UNIVERSAL connection
- 1/2" DIMA DUAL UNIVERSAL connection
