R32: a refrigerant for the future
Mitsubishi Electric's long-standing attention to environmental protection has led to the development of a product that reflects the international community's sensitivity to climate change, a problem already addressed by the European Community and subject to current and future legislation. The R32 refrigerant used in the MSZ-LN series air conditioners has a lower Global Warming Potential (GWP) than refrigerants previously used in residential air conditioning, reducing its potential negative impact on the environment.

Seasonal efficiency beyond class A+++
The characteristics of the refrigerant used and continuous technological innovation have made it possible to create a product with very high performance. The seasonal efficiencies highlighted by the SEER/SCOP values allow for classification in class A+++ for both cooling and heating.

Air distribution

3D i-see sensor
The 3D i-see sensor presence sensor, integrated into the MSZ-LN units, features new functions compared to the one installed in the Kirigamine MSZ-FH series for increased indoor comfort. Thanks to the new implementations, it is not only possible to direct the flow directly/indirectly, but there are also functions that "learn" the habits of the occupants and optimize the efficient and comfortable operation of the unit. The even airflow function, for example, "records" the occupancy profile of the room, creating a mapping that allows for optimal climate control of the most frequented areas based on history.

Quiet operation
Environmental comfort is also linked to the sound level and is especially important in bedrooms or studies. The Kirigamine line ensures an ideal climate all year round with a sound level virtually imperceptible to the human ear.
The 19dB(A)2 achieved by the Kirigamine Style model are quieter than the rustling of leaves in the wind, making the air conditioner virtually inaudible to the occupants of the room.
This is why Kirigamine Style is particularly suitable for domestic environments such as bedrooms and living areas, where we spend most of our time and carry out our daily activities.

Advanced filtration
The Plasma Quad Plus filtration system of the MSZ-LN units achieves a new record in air cleanliness. It is indeed capable of retaining particles up to PM2.5, i.e., with a diameter of less than 2.5 μm.

This distinctive feature makes the unit ideal for families particularly attentive to air quality or for installation in environments with often compromised ambient air (e.g., rooms overlooking busy areas, in cities near production activities...).

Plasma Quad Plus
This distinctive feature makes the unit ideal for families particularly attentive to air quality or for installation in environments with often compromised ambient air (e.g., rooms overlooking busy areas, in cities, near production activities...). Through the use of Plasma Quad Plus technology, the unit is able to eliminate bacteria and viruses thanks to a technology that uses an electric field and a series of electrical discharges through which the air introduced into the environment passes. With Plasma Quad Plus technology, 99% of bacteria present in a 25m3 room are neutralized in just 115 minutes.

Dual Barrier Coating
With the MSZ-LN unit, Mitsubishi Electric introduces another revolutionary technology: Double Barrier Coating.
During operation, dust and impurities introduced during air conditioning operations settle on the internal components, especially the coil and fan, increasing the machine's consumption by up to 18%.
With Double Barrier Coating, the internal components of the MSZ-LN are treated with a second protective layer that prevents dust and impurities from settling even after long periods, reducing consumption and eliminating the need for unit maintenance related to this problem.

MELCloud - Energy consumption monitoring
The ability to manage and monitor the air conditioning system remotely is a consolidated solution in the Mitsubishi Electric product range thanks to the MELCloud platform. It allows precise adjustment of air conditioning systems from Smartphones and Tablets via a dedicated app.

The new MSZ-LN units are not only compatible with MELCloud but are already designed with a built-in WiFi interface for network connection, making them ready for the Cloud solution without the need for additional components. One of the innovations that the MSZ-LN is already equipped with is the ability to monitor electricity consumption via the MELCloud® application, to always keep efficiency under control.
