Door Control Contact The on/off contact on the unit allows you to manage the unit's on/off with the magnetic card for opening the entrance door (e.g., in a hotel room). Inserting the card activates the air conditioner; removing the card turns off the unit: this avoids energy waste. A wired control is required for this application.
