The heat exchanger of BLUEHELIX ALPHA's thermal unit (fig. A) compared to the more classic and widespread steel exchanger. This geometry allows the exchanger to operate almost at maximum design efficiency even in conditions of partial clogging, whereas with the same amount of deposits and sediments (e.g., due to installation on old systems), the exchanger in fig. B tends to clog much more quickly in the part in contact with the flame due to the reduced fluid passage area, where a real barrier of deposits * is formed that hinders heat exchange and reduces efficiency below nominal values.

THE ENGINE

The tube that makes up the BLUEHELIX ALPHA exchanger is made of stainless steel, a material that allows for an extremely smooth surface, therefore less susceptible to scaling agents and deposits.

BOILER CONTROL

The BLUEHELIX ALPHA control unit consists of an easy-to-use interface with a backlit display. Using the buttons, it is possible to easily adjust the heating flow temperature, the domestic hot water setpoint, turn the generator on/off or activate the comfort function, monitoring the boiler status. The control panel is completed by a traditional pressure gauge that can check the system pressure at any time.

The electronics control the flame ionization current to ensure optimal combustion as the air density or gas quality changes. The relationship between the air/gas ratio (λ) and the flame ionization signal is used to control the air-gas ratio itself and therefore combustion. MC2: Multi Combustion Control, the new combustion system with patented Gas-adaptive technology improves adaptability of use as gas network conditions vary (e.g., fluctuations or reduced pressures).

MGR Methane, LPG, Propane Air Ready

The MC2 combustion control constantly monitors combustion quality, and by simply modifying a parameter on the electronic board (an operation to be performed only by qualified personnel), it is possible to operate the boiler with Methane, LPG, or Propane Air. Therefore, no additional accessory kits are required.

CONNECT

New wireless remote control available as an accessory for managing home comfort also from smartphones via the connect app (iOS and Android). Maximizes ambient comfort with flow temperature modulation through Room Climate Compensation (CCA) and Outdoor Climate Compensation (CCE) functions via outdoor temperature detectable directly from the internet (or from an optional outdoor sensor). Improves average seasonal efficiency in space heating by +4%.

EASY MAINTENANCE

Trouble-free maintenance When carrying out the first maintenance, the technician can see the care with which every detail has been designed to facilitate their work. Thanks to the maximum accessibility of the main components, the BLUEHELIX ALPHA thermal unit allows maintenance to be carried out with maximum precision and speed. Some examples: - The electrical box of the electronic board can be easily removed from the chassis, leaving free access to the internal parts.

- Easy access to the burner unit by removing 4 screws and the quick coupling (clip) of the fan.
- The extra-large passage exchanger is designed to withstand even the hardest water and is easily cleanable thanks to the single, non-manifold tube circuit.
- The domestic water inlet filter can be extracted very easily directly from the inside without having to remove the boiler's hydraulic connections.
- Any disassembly and replacement of the plate heat exchanger is simply done by removing two Allen bolts accessible from the front.

SUN EASY FUNCTION

BLUEHELIX ALPHA has been designed to be easily integrated into systems built with the latest technologies. The SUN EASY system uses electronics that simplify combination with both natural and forced circulation solar panels. Through a sensor placed on the domestic hot water circuit, it continuously monitors the temperature of the water preheated by the solar panels, activating the burner only if the latter falls below the level necessary to ensure optimal user comfort.

STOP AND GO FUNCTION

With the use of very short or short mixing taps for quick rinses, the boiler ignition procedure is started, which usually ends immediately. The persistence of these "false starts" can, in the long run, compromise the average life of the product. For this reason, BLUEHELIX ALPHA provides an electronic parameter that allows delaying the ignition of the burner (Stop and Go), activating it only when there is an actual draw of domestic hot water.

OUTDOOR INSTALLATION - ANTI-FREEZE FUNCTION

To make the most of available space, the new BLUEHELIX ALPHA 24 - 28 C boiler can be installed flush with the wall using the specific kit; for more critical installations, in completely exposed areas not protected from the elements, the "painted cabinet" kit is also available. Should the boiler temperature drop to 5°C, the burner automatically switches on and the circulator activates to protect the appliance from frost damage. This function is active when the boiler is supplied with gas and electrical power.

ECO-COMFORT DOMESTIC HOT WATER FUNCTION

In ECO mode, domestic hot water production follows traditional standards, allowing energy savings during periods of non-use. In COMFORT mode, thanks to the special heat exchanger temperature maintenance system, domestic hot water delivery becomes even faster and more comfortable.
