RESIDENCE, among Riello's most representative ranges in terms of reliability and performance, has been profoundly renewed in design and technology to create RESIDENCE HM.

This new wall-mounted condensing boiler offers many new features compared to the previous series: from high modulation of 1:10 across the entire range, to the new stainless steel heat exchanger with renewed adaptive combustion control, to the new touch control panel, to name the main ones.

The common denominator of the entire range is technological research aimed at energy saving to offer ever higher comfort: from quietness to performance, there are many improved features of RESIDENCE HM, which users will certainly appreciate. The new range features a completely renewed aesthetic, with a modern and advanced character, which harmonizes easily in different residential contexts, both in replacement and in new construction. Furthermore, like all new-generation Riello boilers, RESIDENCE HM is future-oriented: it is designed to operate with natural gas and hydrogen mixtures up to 20%, thus helping to reduce the environmental impact and emissions of condensing boilers in the coming years.

NEW ADAPTIVE ELECTRONIC COMBUSTION CONTROL

RESIDENCE HM is equipped with a new intelligent combustion control system ACC (active combustion control), capable of automatically adapting to the fuel (natural gas, LPG, etc.) without requiring specific codes or accessory conversion kits. This innovative and sophisticated control system allows for self-regulation of combustion, eliminating the need for initial calibration. The ACC system is also capable of adapting the boiler to operate with different gas configurations, different pipe lengths, and at different altitudes (within the planned design limits). The ACC system can also perform self-diagnostics for combustion that is always under control, with emissions consistently well below the limits imposed by regulations.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE DOMESTIC HOT WATER PLATE EXCHANGER

The "high performance" domestic hot water exchanger of RESIDENCE HM, developed by Riello, offers excellent comfort, together with rapid achievement of the set point and temperature stability during draw-off.

QUIET OPERATION

Thanks also to the new materials introduced, RESIDENCE HM stands out for its quiet operation, an improved characteristic (approximately -10%) compared to the previous namesake range and particularly appreciated when the boiler is installed inside the home. The noise range is indeed at levels from 45 dB(A), for the 30 KIS model, up to 48 dB(A) for the 20 IS model.

EASY INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE

The ACC system simplifies installation. During commissioning, the new boiler does not require calibration, and it is sufficient to select the type of fuel gas used by the boiler via the interface, if different from the default (natural gas). The small size and low weight make the product easy to transport and move during installation. Front accessibility to components also makes the product easier for the appointed technician to maintain, speeding up intervention times.

INTEGRATION INTO HYBRID SYSTEMS

RESIDENCE HM can be integrated into Riello multi-energy hybrid systems (gas/electricity and renewables), through the accessory offer of the Hi, Comfort platform.

NEW INTERFACE WITH ADVANCED AND MODERN DESIGN

RESIDENCE HM is equipped with a new digital interface with an attractive design, which gives RESIDENCE HM a modern character, in line with current aesthetic standards. Designed with particular attention to ease of use, the RESIDENCE HM panel allows intuitive access to all boiler and system settings and parameters with a simple "touch" on seven points of its surface. A "buzzer," the characteristic acoustic signal, confirms the operation. The 2.8'' HMI display has also been designed with simplicity of communication for the user in mind, through the use of icons that make understanding more immediate than text.

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE

The RESIDENCE HM range, like all new-generation Riello boilers, is designed to operate with natural gas and hydrogen mixtures - up to a maximum of 20% - a first important contribution to the decarbonization process initiated by the European Union.

100% HYDROGEN ROADMAP

And there's more. Riello is now aiming for the use of pure hydrogen as a completely CO2-free energy source. For this reason, the new RESIDENCE HM range has been tested to operate with 100% hydrogen combustion through a conversion kit, currently under development in our laboratories.
