RESIDENCE, among Riello's most representative ranges in terms of reliability and performance, is profoundly updated in design and technology to create RESIDENCE HM.

There are many new features in this new wall-mounted condensing boiler compared to the previous series: from the high 1:10 modulation across the entire range, to the new stainless steel heat exchanger with renewed adaptive combustion control, up to the new touch control panel, to name the main ones.

The common denominator across the entire range is technological research aimed at energy saving to offer ever-higher comfort: from quietness to performance, there are many improved features of RESIDENCE HM that the user will appreciate. The new range comes with a completely renewed aesthetic, with a modern and evolved character, which easily harmonizes with different residential contexts, both in replacement and in new construction. Furthermore, like all new generation Riello boilers, RESIDENCE HM is future-oriented: it is designed to operate with natural gas and hydrogen mixtures up to 20%, thus helping to reduce the environmental impact and emissions of condensing boilers in the coming years.

NEW ADAPTIVE ELECTRONIC COMBUSTION CONTROL

RESIDENCE HM is equipped with a new intelligent ACC (active combustion control) system, capable of automatically adapting to the fuel (methane, LPG, etc.) without resorting to specific codes or accessory conversion kits. This innovative and sophisticated control system allows for automatic combustion regulation, eliminating the need for initial calibration. The ACC system is also able to adapt the boiler to operate with different gas configurations, different pipe lengths, and at different altitudes (within the foreseen design limits). The ACC system is also capable of performing self-diagnostics for combustion that is always under control, with emissions constantly well below the limits imposed by regulations.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE PLATE DOMESTIC HOT WATER EXCHANGER

The RESIDENCE HM "high performance" domestic hot water exchanger, developed by Riello, offers excellent comfort, combined with rapid attainment of the set point and temperature stability during draw-off.

QUIET OPERATION

Thanks also to the new materials introduced, RESIDENCE HM stands out for its quiet operation, an improved characteristic (approximately -10%) compared to the previous eponymous range and particularly noticeable when the boiler is installed inside the home. The noise range is indeed at levels from 45 db(A) for the 30 KIS model, up to 48 db(A) for the 20 IS model.

EASY INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE

The ACC system simplifies installation. During ignition, the new boiler does not require calibration, and it is sufficient to select the type of fuel gas used by the boiler via the interface, if different from the default (methane). The small size and low weight make the product easy to transport and handle during installation. Front accessibility to components also makes the product easier to maintain for the assigned technician, speeding up intervention times.

INTEGRABILITY IN HYBRID SYSTEMS

RESIDENCE HM can be integrated into Riello multi-energy hybrid systems (gas/electricity and renewables), through the offering of Hi, Comfort platform accessories.

NEW INTERFACE WITH ADVANCED AND MODERN DESIGN

RESIDENCE HM is equipped with a new digital interface with an attractive design, which gives RESIDENCE HM a modern character, in line
with current aesthetic standards. Designed with particular attention to ease of use, the RESIDENCE HM panel allows intuitive access to all boiler and system settings and parameters with a simple "touch" on seven points of its surface. A "buzzer," the characteristic acoustic signal, confirms the operation. The 2.8-inch HMI display was also designed for simple communication for the user, through the use of icons that make understanding more immediate than text.

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE

The RESIDENCE HM range, like all new generation Riello boilers, is designed to operate with natural gas and hydrogen mixtures - up to a maximum of 20% - a first important contribution to the decarbonization process initiated by the European Union.

100% HYDROGEN ROADMAP

And there's more. Riello is now aiming for the use of pure hydrogen as a completely CO2-free energy source. For this reason, the new RESIDENCE HM range has been tested to operate with 100% hydrogen combustion through a conversion kit, currently under development in our laboratories.
